Our thorough watch service process
Every watch follows a structured service process designed to restore performance and reliability. At Russell Talerman Watch Repairs – Rolex Specialist, our process includes the following:
Step 1 – Complete Disassembly
Bracelet is removed and separated from the case. The movement is carefully extracted, and the case is fully dismantled for detailed inspection.
Step 2 – Ultrasonic Cleaning
All movement components are fully dismantled and cleaned using specialist ultrasonic equipment to remove old lubricants and contaminants.
Step 3 – Inspection & Component Replacement
Every part is examined under magnification. Worn or damaged components are identified and replaced with genuine manufacturer parts where available.
Step 4 – Lubrication & Reassembly
Precision Swiss lubricants are applied before the movement is carefully reassembled and adjusted for smooth, accurate performance.
Step 5 – Case & Bracelet Refinishing
The case and bracelet are ultrasonically cleaned, professionally polished and refinished to restore brushed, satin and mirror surfaces, returning the watch close to its original factory finish.
Step 6 – Case Reassembly
New seals and gaskets are fitted where required. The case is reassembled to manufacturer specifications, restoring protection against dust and moisture.
Step 7 – Water Resistance Testing
Comprehensive pressure testing is carried out to ensure waterproof watches meet factory specifications, with full seal integrity verification.
Step 8 – Final Quality Control
Timekeeping accuracy is tested, automatic winding systems are checked, and a full performance inspection is completed before return.
Step 9 – Service Guarantee
Every fully serviced watch is covered by a minimum 12-month guarantee, providing confidence and peace of mind, excluding accidental damage or misuse.
